Accepting life after the eclipse: From Grief to Growth: Navigating Life's Transformations
Today, we're diving deep into the theme of acceptance in the wake of loss, specifically in the context of life after the eclipse. I’m sharing my personal journey following the passing of my beloved Cleo, a beautiful soul in feline form who was by my side for 17 years.
As we navigate the waves of grief, I want to emphasize that each of us is experiencing changes, and it’s vital to remember that we are not alone in this. This episode is all about honoring memories, embracing our emotions, and finding gratitude amidst the pain. Let’s take this time together to celebrate life, connect with nature, and recognize the beauty in our shared experiences. So grab a cozy drink, settle in, and let’s explore this journey of acceptance together.
As Aline delves deeper into her reflections, she shares poignant stories of Cleo’s unwavering companionship throughout her life’s ups and downs. From moments of joy to experiences of deep sorrow, Cleo has been a guiding light, embodying unconditional love and teaching Aline the essence of self-care. This episode serves as a reminder that our pets and loved ones are not just companions but also teachers who help us navigate our most challenging moments. Aline emphasizes the importance of feeling our emotions and not shying away from vulnerability. She expresses her gratitude for the small blessings in life and encourages listeners to take a moment to appreciate what they have, fostering a sense of community and connection among those who are grieving or healing. This episode is a beautiful testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the importance of honouring our feelings during times of transition.
With gratitude to all my guides and especially my girl Cleo.
We have left the audio as is so you can hear the love from nature.
So much love to you all.
Aline

Hello gorgeous.
Speaker A:And a warm welcome to Accepting.
Speaker A:I'm Arlene, your host and this episode is being recorded on the 1st of November.
Speaker A:All Saints Day.
Speaker A:The Day of the Dead Witches New Year.
Speaker A:Celtic New Year.
Speaker A:A time for beautiful memories, a time for new beginnings, a time for turning grief into understanding and a time for celebrating life.
Speaker A:So get yourself a cup of tea, get yourself cozy and let's dive in.
Speaker A:And this episode is called Accepting Life after the Eclipse.
Speaker A:Welcome, gorgeous.
Speaker A:So this episode is being recorded underneath the tree of love on the 1st of November.
Speaker A:The sun has risen behind us and we're in the beautiful morning chorus.
Speaker A:So it felt so right to record today.
Speaker A:And this is the first episode thought I could get through this.
Speaker A:This is the first episode without my baby girl Cleo.
Speaker A:We've all been through so much in this past year, so this episode is going to be slightly different.
Speaker A:It's more about memories and, and being grateful.
Speaker A:And I really hope that this is just going to help anybody who's going through anything know that they're not alone.
Speaker A:We've all been through so much this year.
Speaker A:The Year of the Snake has rattled us rather a lot recently with the eclipses.
Speaker A:And this is why I felt so much to be outside after the eclipse.
Speaker A:The eclipse has brought so much up for so many of us.
Speaker A:If it hasn't for you, wonderful.
Speaker A:Keep that beautiful even keel going for the world for community.
Speaker A:There's so much that has been rattled with Pluto going direct in Aquarius.
Speaker A:It's Pluto is the great revealer.
Speaker A:Aquarius is about individual.
Speaker A:So we're all very, very much remembering who we truly are and why we chose to come here.
Speaker A:And with that brings lessons and brings experiences and for me personally, six weeks ago my beautiful girl left for another plane and she's been with me for 17 years.
Speaker A:I know she's still with me now.
Speaker A:She's been with me for 17 years.
Speaker A:So for all of us it's such a huge change and it's one that to say that we've been doing really, not really, not necessarily really well.
Speaker A:It's one where we've been going through all the fields and the idea of today is to honour her, is to honor her beautiful presence, is to honor how much she helped me and to honor all beautiful sentient beings who come here purely to help us.
Speaker A:They come here for an experience.
Speaker A:They come here for an experience and some of them have beautiful experiences and go back and tell their friends all about it.
Speaker A:And others are just cheated, quite frankly, like shit.
Speaker A:So what I really wanted to speak about was today was about the sensitivity of beautiful sentient beings who aren't human beings.
Speaker A:Yes, as human beings we are becoming more and more sensitive.
Speaker A:But let's just think about the world.
Speaker A:Let's think about mother Gaia on the 1st of November, which is today.
Speaker A:Witches New Year, Celtic New Year, Day of the Dead.
Speaker A:All saints.
Speaker A:Let's just feel really, really blessed because we are, we are so blessed for being here.
Speaker A:We're so blessed for having roofs over over our heads.
Speaker A:We're so blessed for having beautiful friends, for having loving families.
Speaker A:So blessed for our body.
Speaker A:So blessed for our voices.
Speaker A:So blessed that we can have a choice.
Speaker A:And one of the.
Speaker A:One of my.
Speaker A:Well, and I'd like to share one of my practices with you.
Speaker A:And if it resonates, then please take it.
Speaker A:Every sunset or morning or midday or all three or one of the three, I send unconditional love of green and golden lights to the beautiful hearts of all sentient beings all around the world, in the cosmos and the universe who do not have the choice to live the life they truly deserve.
Speaker A:And I send to battery farms and I send to the Amazon and I send to pharmaceutical industries and I send to war zones.
Speaker A:I include human beings and I send to the fashion industry and I send to the sports industry and I send to trophy hunting industry.
Speaker A:All of these industries that have taken the beautiful, beautiful souls who are so gentle and so kind and used that against them and made them food or entertainment or clothing.
Speaker A:And I understand way back when hunters and gatherers for the sake of survival, there was an element of that.
Speaker A:With that there was also the element of thank you.
Speaker A:There's the element of gratitude.
Speaker A:There was the element of blessing the animal that was the sentient being that was killed for the clothing.
Speaker A:And gratitude.
Speaker A:Where's that?
Speaker A:That's just gone.
Speaker A:And this episode I just really want to honor all sentient beings who don't have a choice to live the life they truly deserve.
Speaker A:My beautiful girl had the life of Riley.
Speaker A:She was the absolute queen and she absolutely deserved it, as do all sentient beings.
Speaker A:And with Cleo, she taught me so much.
Speaker A:She taught me unconditional love.
Speaker A:She taught me boundaries.
Speaker A:She taught me fun.
Speaker A:She taught me play.
Speaker A:She taught me self care.
Speaker A:And she was by my side.
Speaker A:The very first episode of Accepting was well was recorded.
Speaker A:We were inside.
Speaker A:The inspiration has always been nature though, you know, underneath the tree of love.
Speaker A:For those.
Speaker A:If you're watching this on video, we can see the sun coming up behind me, the sun coming through and the sun's up you can see the beautiful light coming through behind me.
Speaker A:And I always.
Speaker A:I will always remember Cleo under this tree because we spent so much time here.
Speaker A:I mean, the area that I'm in now.
Speaker A:We were here for nine years together.
Speaker A:She was with me for 17 years.
Speaker A:The first year we were in England and the second year she moved to Spain with me.
Speaker A:She moved to Spain with me, with.
Speaker A:With her sister Ella.
Speaker A:And she's been with me ever since.
Speaker A:There were only two weeks that we weren't.
Speaker A:That she wasn't with me.
Speaker A:And she went missing and I thought she'd gone.
Speaker A:It was two weeks I thought she'd gone.
Speaker A:I was moving house in the village that I was in and my neighbor phoned me and said, cleo's looking for you.
Speaker A:And I came back and there she was.
Speaker A:She'd been gone for two weeks and she came back.
Speaker A:She was always coming back.
Speaker A:She was always guiding me.
Speaker A:She guided me through.
Speaker A:She was all.
Speaker A:It was unconditional.
Speaker A:She was there when I was party girl.
Speaker A:She was there when I was abusing myself through alcohol, through lack of worth.
Speaker A:She was there by my side the whole time.
Speaker A:She was there showing me, this works for you, Mummy?
Speaker A:This doesn't work for you, Mummy.
Speaker A:And she was there with patience as I went back into old patterns because I was scared.
Speaker A:She was there when I had my accident.
Speaker A:In fact, there's a photograph of her lying on my back as I'm crying that I took after my accident when I was with ptsd, that I didn't know when I was going through all the pain, when I was going through whatever.
Speaker A:I just.
Speaker A:I'd chosen to go through, to have an experience.
Speaker A:She was behind me.
Speaker A:She was giving me her love all the way through.
Speaker A:And I'm so grateful for that.
Speaker A:And I was feeling really, really grateful, really, really blessed today and preparing for speaking.
Speaker A:I didn't really know how it was going to go.
Speaker A:This is the first episode ever and I didn't know how it was going to go.
Speaker A:So this is a different one.
Speaker A:This one is just allowing ourselves to be raw, allowing ourselves to have emotion, allowing ourselves to feel all the feels.
Speaker A:I'm a highly intuitive empath.
Speaker A:I'm a creative, I'm a sensitive.
Speaker A:And I'd been pushing that down for so, so long.
Speaker A:I was in sales roles.
Speaker A:I was a sales manager.
Speaker A:I was doing real estate.
Speaker A:Go, go, go, go, go.
Speaker A:Trying to fit in into environments that were just breaking my soul.
Speaker A:And she was with me the whole way.
Speaker A:She could see what was going on.
Speaker A:And as much as I was her home.
Speaker A:She was my home.
Speaker A:And it was nine years ago this year.
Speaker A:It was.
Speaker A:It was in.
Speaker A:It was nine years ago in March that I had my accident where I fell on my backside and did quite a lot of damage.
Speaker A:I didn't realize until a few weeks later.
Speaker A:And this resulted in being fired from the real estate job that I was in.
Speaker A:This resulted in not being able to move for about, I think it was six months.
Speaker A:Not being able to walk properly, being in constant pain.
Speaker A:And this resulted in me moving, leaving a place where I had just arranged to have the apartment that I bought refurbished.
Speaker A:It resulted in me leaving there and she was there with me the whole time.
Speaker A:The whole time.
Speaker A:So it was six weeks ago that she said, mummy, this is enough.
Speaker A:No, my body can't take any more.
Speaker A:It's time for you to move on.
Speaker A:And I know, and the reason I'm talking about this is because I know so many are going through huge changes at the moment.
Speaker A:And I'm not comparing what's going through, what I'm going through to what anybody else is going through, because there's no comparison.
Speaker A:There's no, my grief is more than yours, or my grief is less than yours, or my situation is worse or better.
Speaker A:We're just all going through stuff and whatever that may be.
Speaker A:It's so important.
Speaker A:And I've realized this because I started shutting myself off from people because I actually lost my voice for about a week and I. I couldn't speak because I had nothing to say.
Speaker A:And it was important I feel for my body just to go, okay, you've spoken about this enough.
Speaker A:We just need to cut you off and we really need you just to feel into what's going on for yourself.
Speaker A:I went into old patterns, I went into avoidance, I went into distraction.
Speaker A:Absolutely I did.
Speaker A:And what I've realized is that all of the offerings, the charis method, the 22 days of feeling self love, all of the processes, the meditations that have been given to me, and when I say given to me, I mean they've been given to me into my soul.
Speaker A:They've been downloaded into me.
Speaker A:Not from the Internet, not from AI.
Speaker A:They are given to me as visions, as visuals, through my voice.
Speaker A:All the processes, it's not just one, it's all together.
Speaker A:So within this, I am now creating a platform where it's all together.
Speaker A:It's not just, you have one of this and one of this, because we're all going through something.
Speaker A:And I realized when I started being given the meditations well over three years ago, now that actually it's been given to me in baby steps.
Speaker A:And the way we're given life is in baby steps and we're only given what we can handle.
Speaker A:And as much as that feels like what I was reading something yesterday or something came up on my phone and it was talking about we can only experience joy and happiness to understand that where there's been pain.
Speaker A:And a few days ago I started laughing and I haven't laughed for a very, very, very long time.
Speaker A:And it was good.
Speaker A:It was really, really good.
Speaker A:Last night I danced and I haven't danced for a really, really long time.
Speaker A:I listened to the most incredible new single by one of my spiritual mentors, Christos T. Perry.
Speaker A:And it's absolutely, absolutely incredible called you are Not Alone.
Speaker A:And the other day I was driving to go and run an errand and it just kept coming up.
Speaker A:I had the radio on and it just kept coming up.
Speaker A:So I listened to about three or four times, driving along, just dancing.
Speaker A:And so last night that's what I felt to do.
Speaker A:It was witches nights and that's what I felt to do.
Speaker A:I was in the medicine wheel, as I am, as I am now.
Speaker A:And I danced and I danced it all out and I moved my body.
Speaker A:I have been, as much as I have been avoiding some conversations, I believe that I was so, so wholeheartedly believed that I was going to be on a beautiful, sacred trip.
Speaker A:I even booked flights to.
Speaker A:To be on the trip.
Speaker A:And it hasn't happened.
Speaker A:And it's a about accepting that.
Speaker A:So I'm accepting life after the eclipse.
Speaker A:And what I would like to say is we go at your own pace.
Speaker A:You know, there's a whole episode on rhythm.
Speaker A:This is this episode and I'm not going to apologize.
Speaker A:It's very discombobulated and it's more of a.
Speaker A:This is the first episode after Cleo.
Speaker A:So this is me feeling into how is this going to look after Cleo?
Speaker A:This is about us feeling into how is my life going to look after X, Y and Z.
Speaker A:It may be you've lost your job.
Speaker A:It may be you've lost your home.
Speaker A:It may be a relationship's ended.
Speaker A:It may be you've lost a loved one.
Speaker A:It something's happened to shift you.
Speaker A:And my beautiful, you are not alone.
Speaker A:You really, really are not alone.
Speaker A:I'm surrounded with love in the medicine wheel.
Speaker A:I can hear the birds around me.
Speaker A:I really hope that's coming through as well.
Speaker A:And it just feels so important to share this.
Speaker A:And none of my, none of the episodes, none of the solo episodes are scripted.
Speaker A:It's whatever comes through.
Speaker A:And today, as I said, I'm not apologizing.
Speaker A:This is how it's all come through.
Speaker A:What we're being shown is our passions.
Speaker A:What we're being shown is our values.
Speaker A:What we're being shown after this rattle is what's really, really important to us.
Speaker A:And what's really, really important for me is that all sentient beings here, the pigeons are graying is all sentient beings are treated fairly.
Speaker A:I'm vegan and I was feeling into this the other day.
Speaker A:That's the first time I've been able to say it without going, oh, I'm vegan, sorry.
Speaker A:It's almost like vegan is up there with, with murderers, which is ironic.
Speaker A:I even got a birthday card from a family member that was supposed to be a joke and actually it was an insult.
Speaker A:It was as if I turned around and sent them something that was really high and really high up on their values and trodden all over it.
Speaker A:And it was so interesting because I chose not to accept it.
Speaker A:And this is where I'm going into my next point because accepting life after the eclipse, after all the rattle, whatever's happened to you, my gorgeous accepting life after that is getting really strong on our boundaries, is getting really strong on our values.
Speaker A:Saying, yes, I accept that into my life.
Speaker A:No, actually I don't accept that into my life.
Speaker A:So you may find that as you've been rattled, as the eclipse has given us a shakeup, as eclipse has given you a shakeup, that you're thinking, actually, no, I'm not going to take that anymore, thanks.
Speaker A:And I, I will make sure that I put an expletive thing on this cuz I'm going to be swearing in this.
Speaker A:And you may be saying, actually, do you know what?
Speaker A:Off.
Speaker A:Because enough is enough.
Speaker A:And so many of us are here with the witch wound, so many of us.
Speaker A:And as we're going much more to the divine feminine, we're realizing our gifts, whether that may be creative gifts or whether that may be gifts in the healing arts, I see everything as sensitivity.
Speaker A:So when I'm talking about I help sensitives, I help everybody who has a gift with healing, Everybody has a gift with creativity.
Speaker A:For me, it's all healing.
Speaker A:For me, art is healing anyway.
Speaker A:And for me, healing is art.
Speaker A:So I am create a creative, intuitive empathy and that's who I help.
Speaker A:And I've realized this so recently, rather than going, okay, I'm an intuitive empath and I could help people here, here, here, and here I'm actually here specifically to help people who have a gift, who has been pushed that has been pushed down, who have been pushing it down, who have a gift of song, who have a gift of art, who have a gift of poetry as an example.
Speaker A:When I was younger, creativity was not seen as a great route to go down.
Speaker A:I loved drama, and I didn't realize how much I loved singing either.
Speaker A:And I was encouraged to go on an academic route.
Speaker A:So I began to almost put down anything creative because, and this is no judgment, because my limiting beliefs had kicked in, because I knew what was accepted and what wasn't accepted.
Speaker A:So at 49 years young, I'm writing poetry, I'm singing.
Speaker A:All of my gifts that I pushed down so, so, so far down are coming back up again.
Speaker A:And for that to happen, there needs to be a vulnerability.
Speaker A:And for vulnerability to happen, experiences have to happen.
Speaker A:And as hurtful and painful as they are, with my beautiful girl gone, that's what's been happening for me.
Speaker A:That was the catalyst that was really, really needed for me to go, okay, this is why you're here.
Speaker A:You're here to help people who are coming through, leaving something behind.
Speaker A:You're here to help people coming through transformation.
Speaker A:You're here to help people remember who they are.
Speaker A:And when I mention transformation, it's not transformation in becoming somebody completely different.
Speaker A:It's transformation in remembering who you are and taking off those performance masks that we put on so just so we could fit in, just so we could feel safe, because people pleasing, fawning was a survival mechanism so we could fit in, so we didn't feel alone.
Speaker A:And now more and more of us are coming up and saying, actually, I'm a witch.
Speaker A:Actually, this is my creative power.
Speaker A:Actually, this is my creative gift.
Speaker A:And the more of us who are doing this, the less alone we're feeling, the more of a community we're building.
Speaker A:So I am building a community called accepting.
Speaker A:And it's the Charis Method.
Speaker A:And the Charis Method is named such because it's named after a family member of mine.
Speaker A:Charis means grace in Greek.
Speaker A:My middle name is Charis, and Charis means grace.
Speaker A:And I was named after my family member.
Speaker A:And I know they were an empath.
Speaker A:I know they had beautiful creativity that was just pushed down and down and down and down and down.
Speaker A:And I know I'm here to break that generational trauma, as so many of us are, so we can let our ancestors free, especially on Day of the Dead.
Speaker A:We can live freely.
Speaker A:We can live creativity.
Speaker A:We can live creatively.
Speaker A:We can live with our sensitivity instead of pushing it down and down and down.
Speaker A:And we can embrace others who have this.
Speaker A:We can embrace others who are different to us.
Speaker A:We can embrace everybody.
Speaker A:As long as there's nobody hurting you, then who are we to judge anybody else?
Speaker A:As long as any actions from anybody around you or any way somebody is being around you or us is not actually detrimental to us, then it's about accepting.
Speaker A:It's accepting life after the eclipse.
Speaker A:It's accepting who we are, it's accepting where we are, it's accepting where others are and accepting who others are.
Speaker A:And in that way we can all just get on with why the bloody hell we're here and we can come together and we can help Gaia.
Speaker A:A lot of my journeys and meditations are with the energy of Gaia because I am so connected to Gaia, I'm so connected to nature.
Speaker A:And I find when I'm not connecting, Shamanism 101 when I'm not connecting to nature, that's when I'm distracted.
Speaker A:That's where I'm in avoidance, that's when I'm feeling low, that's when I.
Speaker A:That's where I'm pushing everything down as I did for so many years.
Speaker A:And Cleo passing reminded me in a very, very big way of how nature is the biggest healer.
Speaker A:It really, really, really is.
Speaker A:And as much as we can talk and talk and talk and yes, talking, if, if sometimes is good to do, absolutely to, to express how we're feeling, it's important that we're expressing how we're feeling to those who've got our backs, not who are going to use it in any way against us.
Speaker A:That's so important.
Speaker A:And when we're just in nature, underneath a tree, tree of love, I'm in the medicine wheel.
Speaker A:I feel held.
Speaker A:I feel protected.
Speaker A:You're not alone, gorgeous.
Speaker A:There we go.
Speaker A:There's the birds.
Speaker A:Our ancestors are the birds.
Speaker A:So thank you so much for your support.
Speaker A:Thank you so much for listening all the way through.
Speaker A:As discombobulated as this episode has been, it is going out today and things are changing.
Speaker A:I'm accepting things are changing.
Speaker A:I'll always feel the presence of my beautiful girl.
Speaker A:I see her, I feel her.
Speaker A:And that may be my imagination.
Speaker A:So what?
Speaker A:It's comforting.
Speaker A:And on the Day of the Dead, on All Saints Day, I honor my ancestors.
Speaker A:I honour past ones who've been here to help me.
Speaker A:I honour my beautiful fur babies.
Speaker A:I honor my beautiful best friend Cleo.
Speaker A:She was and is my Best friend.
Speaker A:Absolutely.
Speaker A:My baby girl.
Speaker A:I will always honor her and she is the Caris method.
Speaker A:She is accepting because without her, there is no way this would have happened.
Speaker A:Absolutely.
Speaker A:I've had my incredible guides on other planes.
Speaker A:I've had my incredible guides, Foster and Christos T. Perry on this plane.
Speaker A:I've had beautiful friends.
Speaker A:The person, the being who's been by my side the whole time, unequivocally just sending love, speaking to me, knowing before I did that there was an emotion coming up and lying across my heart.
Speaker A:She could never get close enough.
Speaker A:She was always here was my baby girl, Cleo.
Speaker A:And I'm so grateful for her.
Speaker A:And she taught me.
Speaker A:Sounded like a snake.
Speaker A:And she taught me, mommy, you're not alone.
Speaker A:I've got you.
Speaker A:And so with this, I hope you felt held by nature.
Speaker A:I hope you felt held by Gaia.
Speaker A:I hope you felt held by my guides coming through.
Speaker A:I hope you felt held by me.
Speaker A:Just allowing whatever's coming through to come through.
Speaker A:And I hope this has helped you in some way and moving forward.
Speaker A:It's.
Speaker A:It was a year yesterday, the first episode came out and we've been through a lot.
Speaker A:The f. The.
Speaker A:The podcast itself has been through a lot.
Speaker A:So many changes.
Speaker A:Went onto a different platform, then back here again.
Speaker A:So it may not look like it's been here for a year.
Speaker A:It has been here for a year.
Speaker A:And we're going to be honoring Cleo in the.
Speaker A:In these next months, we're going to be honoring sensitivity as we always do.
Speaker A:We're going to be really honoring her values and with guests, with being in nature.
Speaker A:It's all going to be honouring my baby girl, honouring Gaia and honoring our hearts.
Speaker A:So with so much love to you, please reach out if you wish.
Speaker A:I'd love to hear from you.
Speaker A:Please review as well so we can reach more sensitives.
Speaker A:This is what this is all about.
Speaker A:I was told a year ago you're here to guide sensitives.
Speaker A:And now I realize, very specifically creative, intuitive empaths.
Speaker A:And if you're feeling, oh, well, I'm not creative, I'm not intuitive, I'm not an empath.
Speaker A:It's time to really feel into who you truly are.
Speaker A:My gorgeous.
Speaker A:Sending you so much love, so much love from the tree of love, from Cleo, from all my guides, from me.
Speaker A:Hope.
