Honouring My Nervous System: Here’s Why We Missed This Week

A little something unexpected happened—a near miss with a car that really shook me up.

It became clear that I needed to honor my nervous system and give myself the space to process everything.

Since that incident early Tuesday morning, my body has been communicating with me in profound ways, and I’ve been actively listening.

It was intentional.

We had a near miss with a car and it was so important to honour my nervous system and I didn't realize my brain kept me safe in the moment and then my nervous system started really talking.

So the from Wednesday evening when I acknowledged it after the incident happened, at the early hours of Tuesday morning, my body has been really, really speaking to me.

So this is just a little update to say thank you for your patience.

I have been really listening and honoring my body and it has been fascinating watching the adrenaline leave, watching my body speak to me in so many different ways.
